The end of school year is fast approaching! While it's an exciting time for students and teachers alike, keeping students focused and on task can be quite challenging during this period.

If you are in search of engaging and educational activities for this exciting and often chaotic time of the year, here's one activity from Teachers Pay Teachers you might want to add to your repository of end-of-year activities - though, it's suitable for any time of the year.

You've given so much of yourself throughout the year; why not switch roles and have your students be the teacher! That's exactly what you'll find in Joanne Miller's, You Be the Teacher: Student Created Lesson Plans.

This teaching resource - which by the way, is free - includes student directions, a lesson plan template to be completed by students and approved by the teacher, student reflection, lesson plan rubric and teacher notes.

If you decide to give this fun activity a try, let us know how it went!
