November 29th 2016 is Giving Tuesday. If you’re wondering what Giving Tuesday is, here is a brief description quoted from the official Giving Tuesday website: “#GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.”
One way to participate in the Giving Tuesday movement is by supporting organizations and causes that you believe in. As a Peer Tutoring Resource Center supporter, you can join in helping to continue to expand our curated library of tools that assist educators like yourself in achieving effective classwide and schoolwide peer tutoring programs.
To our past blog contributors as well as resource material donors, we attribute a large part of the PTRC’s success to you, thanks for all your efforts. Please use the #GivingTuesday platform in helping to spread the word about our need for peer tutoring resource library materials. For starters, you can share the following on Twitter by clicking the Tweet button below:
Are you a peer tutoring practitioner? You’re welcome to donate a sample document or two from your peer tutoring program - lesson plans, tutor training and program design guides, evaluation forms etc. Learn more about what and how to submit.
Not able to share resources at this time? You can still do something by sharing the tweet above.
All we’re asking this #GivingTuesday is to help us help you build successful peer tutoring programs that your students can benefit from.
