We recently launched a new area on this website for sharing peer tutoring related videos. The peer tutoring video library is where we will curate the most helpful videos that explain what peer tutoring is and demonstrate what it looks like.
We believe that seeing peer tutoring in action and watching how it’s being implemented in classrooms and schools is the perfect compliment to the existing material (lesson plans, tutor training manuals etc.) in our resource library.
Below is an example of what you’ll find in the new video library. It is a training video by Utah State Office of Education’s cross-age tutoring program; a program designed to provide students who are reading below grade level with additional reading practice. The 10 minute video demonstrates a tutoring session between a sixth grade tutor and second grade tutee.
We look forward to growing this new section of the site. Access more peer tutoring videos in the library.
