This manual is designed to help teachers get K-PALS up and running in the kindergarten classroom. PALS provides teachers with a means of differentiating instruction and addressing diversity by supplementing core instruction with classwide, reciprocal peer tutoring. Kindergarten PALS (K-PALS) focuses on phonemic awareness, letter-sound recognition, sight word reading, and decoding.
